Accessibility
POWER, Inc. Community embodies ACCESS by dismantling barriers that restrict our community from reaching its highest potential. POWER creates access through education, financial support, and a social/emotional community. For example, through our summer educational webinar series, we taught over 230 parents/webinar viewers how to properly request an IEP for their child. By having this program, we created access to educational resources that parents could use when advocating for their children to receive the services available to them. Another example of access is when we had a real estate expert share over 15 different loan programs available to first-time homebuyers. Through our partnerships and programs, we are creating opportunities for our community to access the resources they need to transition from surviving to thriving.

POWER, Inc. Community embodies PROSPERITY by strategically influencing parents to strive for wealth, success, profitability, and affluence despite their challenges. POWER provides webinars and expert partnerships in Real Estate, Financial Planning, and Wealth and Asset management. Alongside financial resources, we are working on expanding our post-Secondary programs to help parents achieve higher levels of education that will directly impact their ability to earn more money to support their families. Our community partnerships have allowed us to provide essential resources to our community members, from legal aid to back-to-school supplies; with our network of experts, we can aid parents in various ways.
Resourcefulness
POWER, Inc. Community embodies RESOURCEFULNESS by considering itself as the resources and plug for not only the single parent community but the African American community. We have created a hub of resource experts from legal aid to educational experts. Our programs provide not only educational services through programs and webinars but also social emotional and financial knowledge and resources. Our community has quickly grown to over 40 resource experts.
